UFC 126 post-fight: Chances of Silva-GSP, bonuses and more

Anderson Silva's son Kalyl wears the belt his father defended at UFC 126 on Saturday night.

-- In addition to a title shot, Jon Jones won the Submission of the Night Bonus, while Anderson Silva won Knockout of the Night for a kick that UFC president Dana White said he only had seen in a video game. Paul Kelly and Donald Cerrone won Fight of the Night. Each fighter won $75,000.

White said that he was concerned that his prediction about Belfort-Silva was going to proven true, as they started out the bout by not engaging. "I went from, 'Oh [expletive] to OH [EXPLETIVE!]"

-- One of the biggest obstacles for a super-bout between Anderson Silva and UFC welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre is geography.

"Where is it going to be?" White said. "Do we go back to Toronto? Do we do Dallas? GSP has made it clear that if he beats Jake Shields, he'll take the fight."

With the UFC headed to Brazil in August, Silva would likely prefer a fight in his home country. At the same time, GSP's home and native land of Canada continually sells out fights.

The other problem is that the middleweight division has to wait for the belt to be tested. Yushin Okami was the next fighter in line.

"Okami's going to be pissed," White said, but he also added that this fight is a theory, as GSP still has to get through Shields in April.

-- Forrest Griffin was not concerned about criticism about the way he won over Rich Franklin.

"I wanted to win a fight. I figure that's a thing you need to do as a professional fighter in the UFC. Win one fight a year, so now I'm good for the year."

-- In one of the weirder moments ever at a UFC post-fight press conference, a person in attendance told White that he was beautiful, and that his female friend from Brazil fell in love with White and that she wants to kiss the UFC president.
